First, before you proceed any further, you should know that the new issue of
Equanimity Magazine is out! The cover features Donnie Brown. You should definitely check it out.
Second, I've been doing a lot of work for clients. I've edited papers, revised chapters, and ghostwritten articles for blog posts. Third, I've been doing a lot of work for Bright Hub. You should click on the tab and see what I've been working on there.I'm keeping this update brief. I've been doing a lot of community work in addition to my writing. I participated in a 5K for Church World Service, I've joined my church's social justice committee and will be partnering to mentor the homeless in my community, I'm an alto one in my choir, I'm working with Habitat for Humanity, and I participated in a fundraiser for the Peace and Justice Center. Finally, I'm very excited to be participating in my first firewalk next month. I will be chronicling this experience for Equanimity's fall issue, so stay tuned for that!I've also been putting together my study plan for the GRE in English Literature, which I plan to take this fall. I will be then applying to MA/MFA programs in English/Creative Writing. Some of the programs I will be applying to have a focus on social justice. Since my ultimate goal is to finish my Ph.D. in philosophy and obtain a J.D. in social justice law focusing on poverty and social change, it fits in perfectly. While that's the long-range view, the short range view is that I'm still here, still helping my clients to meet their goals, and still very excited about all that I do!
My schedule is filling up fast for the rest of the month, so if you have been wanting to work with me on a project, why not contact me today?
